Entangled photons – The measurement results of Alice and Bob

Alice and Bob first of all select matching measuring axes, i.e. both angles α and β of the two polarisation rotators are at 0°.

Whereas Alice does not change her measuring axis, Bob rotates his directions of polarisation on up to 90° in 15° steps. For every angle combination, 64 measurements are carried out, and recorded as Black/White random patterns.
